Anyone out there have a good solution for lighting up the tailgate at night? I was thinking of mounting a LED bar on the upper rear hatch to throw down some light on the tailgate for camping.

Any suggestions? Pictures? Thanks

My 200 will have something like this with two rigid diffused SR-Q lights. I had a single Rigid DSS Pro before but it was too narrow of a beam. Diffused is the way to go for camp/scene lighting.

@mpho Are you just wanting to illuminate the tailgate or light up a large area? If the former, I ghetto-rigged some junk I already had laying around onto the bottom of my 80 rear glass. It's the only light on in the pic, so you can see the spread pretty well. I covered the bulbs with tape to soften the brightness. The whole thing removes easily if I only want to use it for specific trips. Also, the charger and light can be recharged while driving the next day. This solution obviously looks more homemade than many 200 owners might want...;)

1 - Amazon USB rechargeable motion sensor LED light (off/motion/on switch)
1 - Velcro
1 - Small USB charger or any USB power source (maybe the 200 has one in the back?)
1 - USB cable (included w/light)

where did you pull power from for this setup?

x2 on that question, @Mogwai! that option looks easy and looks great! is that the 'natural 4300k' temp in your photo?

Good tips fellas. I'd look for the warmest cokor temp one you can find...helps to keep the critters away. Doesn't have to be full yella.

Similar to Kurt. I have the National Luna lights on the rear hatch.

Cargo Management:

We went the tried and true route with a set of ARB drawers for the rear cargo area to help organize equipment and set the base for the ARB 63Qt Freezer/Fridge. The two standard height drawers will be enough to manage cargo and provide ease of access for my wife and I. On the right side of the drawers, we added a set of aluminum VersaTie--Track Kit-Surface Mounts from Macs Customer Tie Downs. I like them for their low profile, ease of use and the options they provide for different size pieces of gear.
