Hey everyone, I need to replace my rear coil springs, or add spacers to give some oomph back into the suspension of my 2000 LX. On a previous post about AHC, I was given the advice to crank t-bars and change rear coil springs. I am looking for suggestions on where to buy, what brand, or do i just get from dealer??? If I go OME will it lift the vehicle? Stiffen the ride? Wife doesn't want to lift it... so just want to restore original ride quality/height to relieve the AHC of extra weight. Thanks for your help!

I just threw 866's on Sunday afternoon. It's a piece-o-pie to install (LC, non-AHC). The key is to have two floor jacks, use one to lower the end of the axel after you've slipped the shock off the lower mount. Spring falls right out. Remove the bolt from the center bracket holding the brake line to the frame to give you some slack and temporarily disconnect the rear axel vent. Oh, and disconnect both sides of the rear swaybar. Once you get oriented it's 15 minutes per side. Add time (and search this board) if you're replacing shocks, or in your case removing AHC.

I've got like 300 feet of travel on the truck since the install so no ride report yet. I expect it to be a little rough until I get some bumpers on it
