Interested.

VERY interested in the bumper, with a swing out tire carrier.

And I'm coming to hot springs twice before August...

ideas on weight of bumper? any cutting of rear cross member?

price?

I can't recall what it weighed honestly. I'm thinking somewhere around 80-90lbs. As for cutting. There is no cutting involved. And I am going to aim to be around the $1000'ish dollar range with out a swing out.

I really need to get Mikes bumper and truck back from the new owner for a few days so I can get a jig built and make all the proper templates before I can start working on getting these into production. But it seems like there is probably a decent market, so I'll get something going soon.

Would love to have a bumper w swing by August...can even let you use my truck one weekend if you need it.

That would actually be great. I could use it to come up with the swing out design. Let me get the old bumper back first and get that part squared away before we try to schedule anything.

Okay, I am just going to throw another update up. I have a 100 in the shop at the moment that I am building another one of these bumpers for. So, I am going to be building a jig and the needed templates to start production on these soon. I figure withing the next few weeks I will be setup with production capabilities.

I'm interested.

But, I would want a swing out for the spare at least

Also very interested. But have to have the spare tire swingout as well. Passenger side if possible.

Why do you want it on the passenger side? I'd like it on the driver side, or centered like the 1st gen. Slee rear bumpers. A tire on the passenger side would kill rear visibility, especially a 35" tire.

That being said, I'm interested as well, swing out or not. Obviously interest is pending pricing. I could do $1,500 for a rear bumper with single swing out. There is a market for buffet friendly rear bumpers.

When I load up my 100 normally the passenger side is stacked high with no visibility anyway, might as well add some more stuff back there.

That being said, center would be OK with me too...

My wife had a guy on a bicycle hit her and dent the stock tupper ware bumper. Rather than but a stock skin I dropped it at Action Fabs place. Essentially he is fabbing the same bumper as OP. My wife is in and out pf the back constantly so there will be no ladder or tire. There will be a few differences from OP's bumper like pockets for the stock reflectors. I will post some photos when he finishes.

Delta, I was visiting chris and saw your bumper.

Hope it's ok to post a pic of it.

OBTW. Nice clean 100!

I'm about two weeks away from having a vendor account set up here, and final pricing and shipping figures tallied. I have my jig and templates in order. Deltapine has picked up his bumper and is in the midst of having it coated before it's final install. Here are a few pictures I snapped before it left my shop.
