REAR AXLE ? (1 Viewer)

Does someone know if their is a chevy axle the same with as a 72 landcruiser. Iam going to installSBC 350xSM465 and have a 205 transfer case. If not I guess I will have to adapt mt LC case to the SM465. Also can I put a 72 rear hatch on A 78 hard top and make it work on my 72 FJ40. Thanks,KS

Chevy is totally different....Chev is centered, Cruiser is offset. Plus lots more....

SM465 to 72-tcase converion = Classic Cruisers plate adapter, see my write up in the tech links.

72 hatch top would require a custom pair of doors/panel for the bottom area...could be done, but not easily. IMO, not worth the effort....

Definently go with the landcruiser t-case, TPI sells the landcruiser 3-speed t-case adapter and they are very friendly people to deal with.
