Can i take my 3rd member from my '91 semi-float rear and put it in a '94 model full float. I already have gears a locker but would like to upgrade in case i break an axle, don't want it to walk out the housing.

I know that you can put either carrier in a mini truck housing, so I would think there should be no problem swapping sf carrier into a ff housing.

thanks, i would not think the 9.5 and the 8" third members use the same carrier. good to know.
