Rear AC problem?

I seem to have noticed rear AC not as cool compared to the front main one when set to the same temperature. Has anyone experienced this before? The mechanic I've been going to for years can't figure out why.

Maybe because it's 15 feet away from the compressor?

Do you have the temp slider over to cold on the controls above the 2nd row seats?
