a little close to GSMTR to be playing chicken, hope everyone is unscathed.

you still riding 35's and an 8" lift or something like that?? did your bumper hit his windows, A or B pillar?

My knee is starting to hurt and my brothers neck is getting stiff. Killed the front right fender of his. Starting puking fluid on contact. I thought we were going to drive thru him.

Oddly, my hood latch is sheered off, but not a scratch anywhere near it. I guess the body shifted enough to break it on impact. I have a 4"x4" tube bumper welded to the frame and the front frame horns are fully boxed with 1/4". It didn't budge. The cops said my front end saved the entire truck. Who knows what may have been tweaked down frame, or if any body mounts broke. I won't know until daylight. My steering is off severely now, so at the very least I am going to get a full PSC hydro assist setup out of this.:)

Just about 6" of lift like a standard SOA 40 and 37" Pit Bulls. My bumper hit about 12" below the hood line and square center of the door.

Poor 4Runner! What did he do, run the redlight?

My first thought was "so much for GSMTR"..I figured you were alright 'cause you were posting it here already. When I t-boned a lady in my Jeep, they said it caused a "diamond" in the frame, one frame rail shifted back. Also the body shifted back or the motor shifted forward, or both. My fan was much closer to the radiator. I drove it away, though. Glad you're alright.

I was going straight through the greenlight and he turned left on green. I was coming up a hill so he couldn't see me until it was too late. I told him he was really brave to turn left at that intersection without the green turn arrow. Nice guy, and he is a city bus driver so he was worried about his CDL. The cop told me that if I decided not to show up to court to prosecute, then he would drop the ticket for him to save his job. I told the guy as long as his insurance company does screw me over in the next 4 weeks, I wouldn't show up.

I am going to remove all the front sheet metal and double check the frame and all the mounts/welds. Might go ahead and order the PSC kit and just install the box with plugs and not mount the ram yet because of time. I need to rework the steering now anyways, so might as well just replace it with what I want.

I can't figure out how my steering radius has changed and my wheel is turned upside down, but nothing looks wrong up front. Hell, my whole frame could be tweaked and I not know it yet until daylight.:meh:

I know right?:)

I inspected it today, and the tub shifted forward about an inch on the mounts, so I need to re-adjust those. I am going to order a new PSC high pressure pump tomorrow at a minimum and may go ahead and buy a complete assist kit. Once the insurance gets a look at it for the appraisal, I'll takedown the fenders and the windshield, get the new pump installed and pack for GSMTR.

any frame damage?

wow! wonder u didn't turn the runner over on its side.

I was only going about 35. The rear tires of my truck came off the ground. My truck absorbed about 0% of force. It all went into raising the vehicle off the ground and into our bodies. Needless to say, I don't think I would want to experience a high speed accident in an old truck after this experience.

Also, something to note. The rear TJ seat that I installed just as it was installed in a Jeep, completely came off of it's brackets. I don't trust that seat setup anymore, and I am glad I didn't have anyone in the back. I believe I would have to look into a seat that is ridgid and mounts on all four corners. The fold/tumble is nice, but not as safe a seat mounted with 4 feat.

In my old cruiser I had someone t-bone me doing about 30. It caused 1 little dent and a bent rim on my cruiser. The other car was totaled. The cruiser did a 180 and was faceing the other direction when it was over. I had two people in the back holding a couple cases of beer when it happened. Neededless to say the all the bottles broke but somehow they stayed in the cruiser with no seatbelts on. Though they had a few bruises.

Foot is sore from flexing on impact while both feet were standing on the brake, and my right knee is bruised. But I am fine.

Thanks,
Jeremy
