Looking for a bit of help-2 hours from home with family, without my TechStream/VCI or FSM.

2000 LX470 with a noticeable misfire, Check engine alternating between flashing and solid, as well as VSC TRAC and VSC OFF lights illuminated. Truck ran fine last night-immediately had a stumble this am when first started.

What would cause this? As in, will a misfire cause the VSC lights?

How can I flash out trouble codes? I have the jumper wire. Also, can someone list the misfire codes for each cylinder?

I also travel with a spare new coil so I can change it out once I determine which cylinder is misfiring.

Thank you for any insight!

As a hail Mary try to reset the ECU by disconnecting the ground cable for about 10 mins and see what happens.

Your next bet is Autozone or similar for OBDII scan.

Not sure about the misfire, but those similar light codes above have popped up when my gas cap was loose or gasket was toast. If you refueled last night, check cap. Sometimes cold spell can “loosen” gasket seal

Misfire codes are P0301 to P0308, last digit denoting the cylinder number. Cylinders are numbered from front to back, odd numbers on the left (driver) side, even numbers on the right side.
