Typically I always replace the ubolts but in this case I've got about 3000-4000 miles on new springs/ubolts and I want to pull a leaf from the rear springs. Should I replace the ubolts in this case?

I am no expert, but I would not hesitate on my rig. In fact, I essentially "reused" them when I had to swap sides on the rear springs and to put shims in the fronts.

I reused my stock ubolts when I put on my OME and they surprisingly fit! they are still holding strong so I don't see any problem and reusing yours.

Probably not the absolute best idea but I would do it in a sec..

I did it under nearly identical circumstances (replacing a leaf and only a few thousand miles on the ubolts). Checked the torque a few times just like with new ones, inspected really carefully for a few weeks to make sure they seated in correctly. No issues at all - worked fine. Still working fine 10,000 miles later.

low miles. yea id do it if they wernt all bent and twisted like mine:doh:
took me less than 6 months to bash em and beat em up. but so long as the nuts come off without stripping id say you are fine.

I would reuse them........cheap hombre that I am.
