Anyone interested in these if I was to get them reproduced?

For sure! I used some newer Tacoma units but the fit is not great (too tight).

I would be interested, are these installed at the telascoping area?

I’m definitely in, will they also fit on a 60? If so, I’ll take two sets.

Thank you

Interesting, I don't recall seeing this part on either my '72 or '76 FJ40's. This part was indicated above as being for early cruisers, but my crusty old and very well worn micro-fiche shows this part being used from March '69 to July '80. Maybe someone here can explain the difference in part numbers. Could be just a superceded number.:hmm:

I'll take a set.

I think the 37331 Cover Sliding Shaft Dust is just the metal sleeve on the larger diameter section of the driveshafts (front & rear). They are just sort of press fit. Mine were loose enough to slide back and forth so I used a little RTV. They're not water proof.

There aren't any grooves to anchor the boots in place on my '78. Just a lip on the end of the dust cover. A thin zip tie would probably work just as well as the wire and not cause as much cutting pressure.

Interesting… might be interested if the price is right.
