Dude, don't get all hurt... This is a technical discussion board, and we deal in technical explanations..

Just explain it in some terms other than generalities!

No one ever said your opinion was wrong or that you should leave. We do respect your experience. There are not that many people who have actually built link suspensions. It would be too bad to lose .

But do not discount others experiences as well. If you have good reasons for saying what you have, then present them. lots of minds (including mine) are changed on this board all the time.

if you feel certain in what you beleive and have a way to show it then please do so. pictures are worth a thousand words or more. they can show what sometimes is hard to or cannot be described.

we would love to see some pics of your build you have done as well as your friends.

We are not here to intentially rip apart everyones ideas or thoughts. more so we are here to help one another. giving sugestions and ideas to one idea as opposed to another. now obviousely people will have differant opinions on the same subject. or feel one way is safer than another.

Tell us we want to know why that is and how it was concluded to be this.

just like a scientist we want to know all the small and little details that make it tick.

if someone feels something should be one way over another and someonbe else disagrees then i think both should state why they feel it should be one way over the other, list the advantages and disadvantages of each, then (if able) show why. a visual is always a plus.

and I never said the only way....Man ....I've only been on here a few weeks and you have an opinion for everything and everyone and everyone else is wrong...I can see I'm not needed on this forum beings how you have the( book of mace.).I said In the beginging that I didn't want an arguement just had an opinion....and now I can see as plain as day that I'm wrong and have no Idea what I'm talking about. So I'll just continue to wheel with guys and bad suspensions and finish next my single seat rear engine buggy with a 3 link.(Like everyone else is running) Maybe someday I'll see you on the trail....I'll be the guy with the 3 like panhard setup......Rod

I think Mace has VERY valid points and they are just that, points. He is asking you to better explain yours. Its easy to get pissed when somebody questions your work or ideas, but fxxx dude, thats how we evolve! we are all here to share info and discuss/debate. If you have a recipie for a well rounded link suspension, by all means, put it on the table, lets look at it. It may be the best thing sence sliced fxxxen bread, BUT,.... You will never know, with advice from others that have ALSO been doing it from allong time, you just may be able to improve it. Then YOU WIN!,... you get pissy and but hurt, start droping "see ya on the trail" NOBODY WINS!. dont get me wrong!,... I am a s*** talker, I get irratated when some kid with CAD pics my s*** appart, and I have a short list of names in my wallet. so take it from me, THICK SKIN AND AN OPEN MIND! benefit from your PC. it good for more than porn!
