Rancho Shock Mod (1 Viewer)

I have rancho shocks, 5 way on my 88 62 I just bought. I am planning to tow a boat. I am not familiar with the opions on these shocks for towing.


My question is, Is there anything I can do to adjust my shocks to accomodate the extra tounge load, and do I need to add gas to the shocks, or is it just an internal mechanisim to adjust stiffness?

I am not sure on the series, but I think they are 5000.

Any imput on this would be appreciated.

just turn the knob, they are 9000. If they are 5 way they sre the older versions. I would put them on the stiffest setting.
