How to Choose an Aftermarket Radiator

Radiators 101: A Basic Guide to Aftermarket Radiators

Apparently brass-copper core radiators are best for nostalgia and restoring original equipment. Aluminum is best for cooling and that's what a radiator is supposed to do best. I guess that since the aluminum can be a larger diameter it prevents bursting and improves flow for better cooling in spite of Copper-brass being a better heat conductor.

I'm not really feeling nostalgic. I want durability and better cooling.

I read that article too...still bought the 16400-66040. 23 years and never a cooling problem. IDK which radiators they referenced in that article, but my TRAD did a damn good job for an exceedingly long time. :meh:

I trust the opinions of the folks at Summit Racing about as much as I trust a Heep.

We all own Toyotas because of their superior engineering and design.
