I found some interesting articles from Summit Racing at www.onallcylinders.com
How to Choose an Aftermarket Radiator
Radiators 101: A Basic Guide to Aftermarket Radiators
Apparently brass-copper core radiators are best for nostalgia and restoring original equipment. Aluminum is best for cooling and that's what a radiator is supposed to do best. I guess that since the aluminum can be a larger diameter it prevents bursting and improves flow for better cooling in spite of Copper-brass being a better heat conductor.
I'm not really feeling nostalgic. I want durability and better cooling.
