Radiator Drain Plug Frozen

Like the title says it won't budge. Has anyone had any luck freeing one of these up? The tube and petcock are quite fragile, if I can gently work it loose by penetrant and a little bit of heat I would give that a try. The rest of the radiator is in good shape and I don't want to risk breaking it, I can always drain it pulling the lower hose as a last resort, messy but doable. Suggestions?

My drain plug is always stubborn both on my 40 and 80. So in lieu of breaking something I just pull the bottom hose.

Soak the threads you can see with Kroil, treat every few days. When you get it loose, put some anti seize compound on the threads.

Pull the hose for now, and when you later pull the radiator, then remove it carefully, apply anti-seize and reinstall. You will likely damage the tube if you try to loosen it in-situ.

Think of pulling the hose as you are getting a flushing action because the coolant rushes out faster thereby carrying a lot more settlements with it.
