Does anyone have the part number for the 23x23 female to female coupler/collar that would join the R151 to the 23 spline gear driven transfer case. I have a R151 tailhousing but still need that part to get everything to connect. I had the R66 diagrams up but haven't been able to find it. I found a few old posts that mention at that time it was readily available from Toyota.

I think its 33399...I'm looking at the parts diagram...gimme a minute to try and post it

Great. Thanks that is better than the diagrams I was looking at. It looks like 33399-35040. If anyone can confirm.

I see -35030. You are going to need to get this from a dealer anyways. Have them confirm.

I think -35030 is a 21 spline out of a G52 or W56. At least that is what comes up when I cross reference it. -35040 is discontinued so might have to order overseas.

Called Marlin yet?

Yes. Need to grab an aftermarket one like they provide in the transfer case adapter kits. Factory part is discontinued with no stock.

Mind if I throw a question into this ?
Once the adaptor plate is bolted on and moves the transfer case back about 15mm, how do you go with the transfer case lever reaching the 2 shift rails on the transfer case that poke into the back of the extension housing on the gearbox. These rails must also move back by 15mm wont they be disappearing 'out the back' how does the lever still pick them up ?

Cheers.

Convert the tc to a top shift.

It is. The rails move backwards how do you account for it ?
If you have forks out the front of the tc it is not a top shift tc. The tc that came with the R151 was forward shift. In other words, the tc shifter was at the rear of the transmission, and connected via those forks to the tc. There would be a plate on top of the tc blocking off the shifter hole. If you have a top shift tc, with shift forks out the front, then we need pics.

Thanks for clarifying. Yeah forward shift😁
This pic sort of shows what’s going to happen - not to scale of course - when the transfer moves backwards so do the shift rails...
Any clue on how the lever grabs the rails ?
