Looks like we may be heading to Moab here later this year, and i'm thinking about towing my 1st gen 4runner (22RE w/ 5spd) with us for a day or two of off-roading while we are there.
I have a couple things I want done before taking it out, one of those being getting my 2nd t-case installed.

As i'm starting to research the shifters, i'm a bit confused on the best route to complete with ideally as minimal of modifications of the trans tunnel possible. I have a clean body/clean interior truck and want to keep it as "stock" as possible with the mods, i.e. keeping the shifters more or less where they are stock.

Options i'm finding:
Any input from anyone on here?

IDK if you can install triple sticks with out doing some serious cutting on the trans tunnel. I have Davez triple sticks that I bought way back before I had many options. I did a few mods to make them the way I wanted. They are out of business as gnob said anyway. I didn't do a body lift. Maybe a good option for you??

@gnob, would there possibly be less clearance issues if using twin sticks and a single?? I had a hard time finding boots for my triple sticks.

That northwest fab triple stick is a work of art, but damn its pricey. Ill gladly drill a 4" hole in the floor to avoid that price and run twin sticks on the rear case. Only reason to run triple sticks is if you have a bench seat and its in the way.

pretty sure the rad twin on a single case would be an absolute non issue.

kind of my thought process on the nw sticks. that and it has alot of fasteners to possibly fall out into the cases.
while i cut the floor for duala in my crawler, i wouldn't hesitate to use the triples again. it makes it really nice not having that shyt in the way on the floorboard and keeps the interior clean looking.
in fact if i eventually drag my crawler parts down here im definitely updating my twin to a rad unit. the fror stick is junk in comparison
