Sorry I missed that. I’ve never understood his to use the site well. I post mostly here and in a couple of fb 40 groups.

It’s been a bit since I’ve given updates. My son and I are back at home, settled in. My builder is working on a big batch which should be ready any time. I keep bugging him for updates.

Just swapped out my tube doors for the hard doors, for the winter. Took me all of 5-10 minutes (including changing mirrors and etc.) thanks to my Quik Hinges. Well worth the money and time to install.

@69LC I finally pulled the plug and installed mine that I have had from you forever. Went pretty well, there was minimal swearing on the upper hinge bolt. I finished up these and ordered a half set for my soft doors I need to tackle next. Love being able to take the doors off so fast, I can't wait for the weight reduction with those softies on!

Fantastic quality, nice heavy plate material and BEAUTIFUL welds!
Some advice for my fellow mudders...
I removed the kick vents and reached through to remove and replace the bolts with a cheap flex head ratcheting box wrench from H Freight.
I ground a point on a longer flange bolt and used it to line up the threaded back plates.
Both sides took less than an hour. Unbelievable! The FJ40 Gods have never smiled on me like this.
I highly recommend the deluxe set of these hinges so you can have a set on your winter doors and a set on your summer doors.
