Okay so I got 3 gallons of Toyota red coolant at a pretty good price to do my coolant flush and I have a few questions.
Is it best to remove the lower radiator hose or just use the radiator petcock?
And what is the best way to tackle the block drain plug? from under, from the wheel well etc...keep in mind this is on the 100 series and there all kinds of rack and pinion and IFS diff action happening in the front end.
I'd be happy for any advice.

Yes, to removing the radiator hose.
Remove the block plug on side of block.
Put a water hose in the radiator and run till it comes clean
Turn on heater to flush heater core as well.

Moderator not paying attention.
If it's about 1FZ-FE is should in 80 Section.
If it's about the Chassis should be in 100 Section

First I'd never put a garden hose in radiator. Tap water has minerals in it, which combines with silicates in coolant building corrosion. This is your worst enemy. Use distilled water (Demineralized water) only.

Yes I was aware of this, Distilled water is a bit more difficult to come by here but I'm searching at the moment.

Do NOT use hose/tap water in your cooling system, it's the fastest way to ruin it. The minerals in the water will begin to clog your radiator internally.

If you want to flush the engine properly, drain block and radiator while the engine is *cool* and refill to capacity with only distilled water. Run for 3 minutes, varying the engine revs a bit. Drain again and refill with a 50/50 mix of Toyota Red Coolant and distilled water. (ensuring there is no pressure in the radiator before opening cap)

Check your owners manual for system capacity so you know how much a 50/50 mix is. Or, take an empty and clean 1 gallon bottle and fill it with 50/50 mix of distilled water and red coolant, then add that mix through the radiator neck until system is full. Refilling the 1 gallon bottle as many times with a 50/50 mix as needed to fill the system.

THEN, run the engine for 3 minutes with a few small revs here and there, and check level again, top off as needed. THEN, the next day after driving normally, after engine cools down, check again and top off as needed.
