Recently bought a 06 LX470, the AHC has failed.
Considering
1. Land Cruiser Coilover conversion
2. Land Cruiser Struts with OME Spring with OME Torsion Bar
3. OME 2"Lift Kit
4. Ironman 2" Lift Kit

The truck has little to none chance to be driving offroad, trend to be using as long range road car with minor camping use.

I did saw a few post mentioned I can buy struts cheap from some toyota website
(48511-69466 - Toyota Parts Deal - https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~absorber~assy~shock~front~lh~48511-69466.html?vin=&make=Toyota&model=Land%20Cruiser&year=2006&submodel=&extra1=&extra2=&filter=())
, do they fit the 2006 LX470 as well, or it's another parts

The AHC guys are all going to tell you to fix it.

I’d pick up a set of OEM LC shocks, torsion bars, and rear springs.

If it’s not rusty just fix the AHC. But you’re in NY so it’s likely rotten. If so just use LC torsion bars, springs and new OEM LC shocks.

HIII I'm super sorry about replying so late, a set a two step login key for the forum and forgot to bring my laptop out with me...

I was thinking about fixing the AHC, but I find it can be very expensive and need to take care of it in long term.
Right now I'm considering OEM LC suspension all around, or OEM Shocks+ OME aftermarket torision bar/spring setup, or a OME/Ironman 2" lift kit.

I want a supportive highway and daily experience and some ability to go offroad(I will use the car to camping for a bit).
I don't either want super stiff and rough or driving a boat soft, what combo should I mainly consider?

Theres leaky pipes due to rust, Im thinking about just delete it to save my wallet. But now question has become if the OEM LC suspension is enough for my use. If that's your setup, would you be willing to share a little more about ur experience?

I've always heard restoring the AHC was best. Although, at what point is the AHC worth to repair, and at what point is it too far gone? If you've got rust then you've probably gotta convert, and if it's a lotta rust then you might not want to throw lots of money at a conversion.

Standard LC suspension will be perfect for you. If you want a small, very low cost lift you could put 30mm spacers on the LC coils and adjust the LC torsion bars to match.

I'd do a thorough inspection of the AHC system for rust, leaks, damage. Aside from rust and something broken, the system is pretty robust. Globes are pretty cheap these days, if you even need them.

Most of the time AHC can be 'fixed' by getting the measurements and pressures within spec.

But if you've got rusted out lines, that could be an expensive and aggravating repair.
