Stock suspension 69. Thinking about upgrading my old Ranchos to Bilsteins. However, if I were to at some point in the future add a 2.5 lift, would I be able to keep running the same shocks?

im not a shock guru or anything, but my advice would be to do everything in one go. lift, shocks, suspension. I've just found it easier to deal with and if you get a kit, you knw its all compatible.

I went with Napa blues on my ‘69.
They’re dirt cheap.

My understanding is you would need to have different shocks for the 2.5 lift
I was afraid this would be the case. I was where they are listed from 0 - 2 inches of lift. Just hoping I could get away with it.

Thanks everybody.

Give Bilstein a call and see what they recommend, then report back. It would be some good tech if they would actually work for 0 - 2.5 inches of lift.
