Put TRD Pro BBS Wheels on the 2015 and… Why does the rig drive better now. Same tires but it’s smoother riding and corners better, overall the vehicle just handles better. Psychosomatic ?

On top of that, looks pretty darn good too.

Are these wheels materially lighter than what was on there previously? Looks great either way

They are lighter, not sure of the exact weight diff but it’s at least 10/12 lbs each.

That’s a meaningful difference, perhaps that’s what it is. Otherwise offset/width etc are the same correct?

Looks awesome - I bet the truck rides better because you got a good balance from the installer!

OE cruiser 18s are 32-33lb each

TRD Pro BBS wheels are almost 28lb

And tire pressure is the same?

Maybe the original wheels/tires were not balanced, and the new set is. (Wheel weights frequently fall off over time.)

Lower unsprung weight also makes a big difference.

Also if the diameter and/or offset has changed there is the scrub radius that could have changed (for better or worse).

Id put my money on a sweet balance and lighter rims.
