Hi Everyone,

It's been a little while since we've done a production run of 18x9" +25 5x150 FX Pro wheels, and we weren't planning on producing more until early 2026.

One of our Tundra customers is trying to get a group buy going for our 18" FX Pro flow formed wheels over on the Tundra forum so that we might possibly be able to start production up earlier than we had planned. I thought it might be a good idea to see if there's any interest here among 200 series owners as well.

This is the link to the post on the Tundra forum:

What we're offering is to maintain current, pre-tariff pricing for one more production run (we'll absorb the tariffs), which is $1,349 / set of four or $1,686.25 / set of five including shipping anywhere in the contiguous 48 states.

Additionally, if we are able to get deposits for at least 10 sets (per part number), we'll offer a discount of $12.50 per wheel ($50 / set of four or $62.50 / set of five wheels).

Most of the interest thus far has been for matte black, but we have also offered this wheel in the past in matte bronze, matte gunmetal and high gloss dark gunmetal.

We're planning to begin asking for 10% deposits in approximately one to two weeks. We'll leave the window open for up to two (2) weeks, after which time the pre-order / group buy discount will no longer be available. We're working with very slim margins for this deal, and we don't expect to be able to offer this pricing again unless there is a dramatic roll back in the Section 232 tariffs on aluminum products.

If any Mud members are interested in leaving a deposit, or if you have any questions, please contact me directly or reply to this thread with your questions or requests. I'm more than happy to help.

Thank you IH8Mud members for your consideration!

-Dustin

No compromises were made when we developed these wheels for your Landcruiser, Sequoia or Tundra. The lug holes have been drilled to accept extended thread (ET shank) lug nuts for maximum thread engagement on short, OEM Toyota wheel studs.

One more note about widths and offsets:

18x9" +25 is the most popular fitment for this wheel in the 5x150 bolt pattern, however we can also produce the wheels in 18x8", 18x8.5" or 18x9" with different offsets (up to 18x8.5" +30 or 18x9" +35). Our factory minimums are 40pcs per spec (part #), which means that all 40 wheels would need to be the same diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern, center bore and color. As of the date of this post (July 3, 2025) the most requested option has been 18x9" +25 5x150 in matte black.

From the thread on Tundras.com:

What's so special about these wheels?

The 18" FX Pro is a light-weight, strong, flow formed wheel that is made from high purity 6061 T6 aluminum alloy. The wheels are hub centric for the 2007-21 Tundra hubs, and the offsets are designed to fit Tundras with 0" ~ 3" of lift and up to 35" tire diameters.

These wheels are extremely durable, both in terms of the strength and rigidity of the wheel itself and the finish. The load rating is 2,500lbs per wheel tested to SAE J2530 standard (one of the strictest testing standards in existence). This wheel was also tested/certified with oversized (35" diameter) tires to ensure safe operation on Tundras with larger tires. The paint and clear coat has much better UV protection than the OEM Toyota Pro wheels, meaning that our wheels resist the elements better and aren't prone to fading as quickly as the factory matte black TRD wheels.

Who is FN Wheels?

My name is Dustin, my company is FN Wheels, and we have specialized in Toyota truck wheels for 20 years. As a Toyota enthusiast myself, my only goal during those 20 years has been to offer the best product possible and maintain a stellar reputation.

Our manufacturing partner has produced world class wheels for over 40 years. We aren't sourcing the cheapest garbage wheels on Alibaba made from pot metal and reselling them as a replica brand via random websites. There are dozens of companies like that who have popped up in recent years (I'd be happy to tell you guys who they are if you want to contact me privately), and frankly it bugs the heck out of me that those companies exist.

Our wheels were designed and engineered from the ground up, third party quality tested and safety certified, and I personally do a final QA/QC inspection before shipping to the customer.

How will my wheels be shipped?

We don't drop ship. We inspect all wheels after receiving them from our factory and prior to shipping to our customers. All wheels are prepped for shipment by protecting the face of the wheel, reinforcing the outer edges of the wheel (front and back), double boxing the wheel, and shipping fully insured with signature confirmation. This is all included in the price you pay - no gimmicks, no add-ons, and no games.

How can I contact FN Wheels?

We are one of very few companies that still have a working phone number, and we welcome customer calls with questions. You can call us just about anytime of day at (951)735-1100, (855)WHEEL-00, email FNWheels@gmail.com, or you can call / text me on my cell : (714)390-9387. We also welcome local pick ups from our warehouse in Corona, California. We don't shy away from customers.

I should also note that this isn't a brand new wheel design. The 18" FX Pro was initially released back in 2018, and we have customers who have put tens of thousands of miles (some of them very hard miles) on their Landcruisers with 18" FX Pros over the course of 7+ years.

How about a reproduction of the BBS TRD Pro forged Heritage Edition wheel with a better offset?
Add some concavity, make it lightweight and I'll buy a set for sure.
Please.
That would be awesome.

Love your wheels by the way.

Thank you. That is definitely something that we're considering for the future. The FX Pro wheel that I posted here is a wheel that we've already designed, engineered, and produced, but we are definitely considering producing a Heritage-type design in the not-so-distant future.

I know that there are cheap Heritage knock off wheels that have been around for a few years now (mostly sold on EBAY), but they're all junk wheels made from substandard materials with load ratings that are too low for the Landcruiser 200. We can definitely offer something much better. Maybe we should get another thread started to see if there's enough interest for us to get that going sooner than later, but in the meantime I wanted to share this 18" FX Pro deal with you guys. The 18" FX Pro is a killer wheel, especially at this price point.

I have a set of these in 17" High Gloss Dark Gunmetal and the color is outstanding in person. The finish is very rugged and more resistant to damage from brake dust than some black OEM Toyota wheels that are on one of my sons' vehicle. Unfortunately, most photos don't do the HGDG color justice to how they look in natural light. Not to bash plain black wheels, but the HGDG really look better, IMO, and ESPECIALLY on vehicles with Mica type paint. The color has just enough life that the wheel and tire doesn't just look like a "black hole." Really, just about the perfect "black" wheel color.

I'll try to post a couple of photos that somewhat capture the true color of the HGDG. These are un-doctored photos made with an iPhone.

Here they are on my Ash Blue Mica GX 470.

Here's a shot where I positioned the 17's in front of my Twilight Gray Metallic LX 570 to see how the HGDG works with that color:

Hoping you reach the threshold to order these!
