this is my LX450, I like the wheels but im going to paint them black or white which would look better and has anyone ever painted their wheels white?

walking eagle has white wheels now i believe. used to be gold. it looks good on a white rig.

I have wondered about that choice in the past. They will not fit without boring out the centers (without spacers anyway). What thickness spacers are you using and did you have to modify the center bores?

Wheels are American Racing Chambers w/ OMF scaloped beadlocks. With the beadlock conversion they end up a 9x17.
Tires are 37-inch BFG Krawlers.

the mt mtz tire is the best of them. they are siped, thats like night and day on tires for snow use.

The use of spacers are really the only thing I don't like about the TRD wheels. I have to run 1.5" spacers to clear the hub and although the track looks great, it could possibly cause fender interference at full stuff. I haven't tried to bore out the centers to eliminate the spacers.


Oh by the way I think I just found the ones I like better, those Hutch's are the real deal!!
