Puerto Rican Cruiser moves to Texas (1 Viewer)

Never made a post on the 100 series section so here goes. A little over a month ago I bought a 100, not just any 100 series though. This is a Puerto Rico-Spec. What does that mean? No navigation as it wasn’t available for PR at the time and 17 in wheels. This one happens to be Atlantic Blue. First time I come across a 100 in this color. Fast forward to today, the cruiser is back home in TX with me as of last night. Talk about a heck of drive from West TX to Jacksonville and back to pick it up from port. Will be a few days before I start driving it as the steering rack is leaking like a you know what. I created this thread in hopes of me finally making a bulls thread. I’ve had multiple LC’s prior to this one, but this is my first 100.

I hadn’t seen a blue 100 before until this one. Nice to have a different color than what you normally see.

They did Blue for a while, but you're right...they seem few and far between

nice find man. Very luck to have the basic temp controls not integrated into the nav screen.
The stupid infotainment screen is one of the few achilles heels of the late model 100s.

Been a few weeks. A lot of progress. Not that many pictures. Free time the past month has been very minimal. The mechanical portion of this is coming to an end.

On the another note, I was finally able to to take the 100 out for some wheeling with some coworkers. The Jeep guys were impressed by how well the 100 handled the trails at MERUS.

At this point, the front end is all new. Still getting a humming noise coming from the front above 50 MPH. I’m thinking I may need to rebuild/replace the front differential. The amount of fluid that was drained out was concerning. One step forward, two steps back.
