Hi team, my conversion is almost complete however ive been asked whether I want to run mafless. infact the recomendation and most of the work/tuning has been done with mafless route.
I'm running my stock airbox and may run a snorkel shortly. I do intend to go offroad on expeditions both high country and varying tempratures (which is why im concerned going mafless).

What are the pros and cons of running mafless?
What should i keep an eye on or insist on if going mafless?

My conversion is mafless, i have had done since the end of january. I live at 4200ft and routinely drive to 8500 plus with no issues. My tune came with the engine (bd turnkey) and he has a pretty good explanation on his site why he goes thid route. I have mine from manifold to inline airbox(spectre) and then snorkel no troubles with that so far. Oh yeah this is a 2004 5.3 vortec.
