Proper grease for bell cranks (1 Viewer)

Wanted to find out what others were using to grease their parking brake bell cranks? I've read synthetic, etc.

Any grease. Just check them every 8-10 years

A synthetic Silicone grease that won't deteriorate the rubber boot is best... There was no lubricant from the factory so that wasn't an issue for them. Something like Sil Glyde works well. NAPA carries it. Silicone grease is also an excellent dielectric so helps prevent the galvanic corrosion common with those bellcranks because of the Alum holder and steel pivot arm.

Toyota calls for lithium soap based glycol....so sil glide or anything from your favorite grease manufacturer like @Spike Strip said

08887-01206 is toyota's tube of it.

I actually did not grease mine, I used a thick slathering of copper anti-seize. Been going on 3yrs without issue.

What ever grease you have. I used anti seize. Just using it helps alot believe it or not.
