A synthetic Silicone grease that won't deteriorate the rubber boot is best... There was no lubricant from the factory so that wasn't an issue for them. Something like Sil Glyde works well. NAPA carries it. Silicone grease is also an excellent dielectric so helps prevent the galvanic corrosion common with those bellcranks because of the Alum holder and steel pivot arm.
 
What ever grease you have. I used anti seize. Just using it helps alot believe it or not.
