i duno if u ever got ur tires. I no u messing with a 4runner. but i had 34 10/50s on my cruiser loved them in the dirt. never tried them on my friends 4runner i bought. but the 4runner does have my stock landcruiser rims with 32 11/50s on it and the 32s dont rub. im thinking the stock cruiser rims might have the proper offset if u ran a 10/50 on the runner. dont no if what i said makes since but to me it did. im still half asleep went fishing last night

I ended up getting the BFG KM2 33/1050/15 and plan to eventually mount them on some fj60 rims that i have sitting around.
I wanted to get some 34 1050 15, but didn't find a streetable/offroadable tire in that size. Everyone seems to love the BFG KM2 in most conditions so i went with those. Eventually i want to pick up some ATs in the same size to be able to swap wheels in between the fj40 and the 4runner depending on my needs for whatever vehicle. I don't do anything hardcore or play in the mud, so i didn't need a super aggressive tire design. I figure that chains are more versatile if i find myself in a bad spot.

i loved my ltbs. exzcept for the road noise. poor handling. they were freaking great lol in the woods omg i loved them. the 4runner has 32 11/50 15 bfg ats on it. i bought the truck from a friend who i actualy helped buy it to begin with. lol and gave him my fj62 rims and tires when i had got my ltbs. let me no how u like the km2 on the 4runner. i like the looks of them but wonder how they are on road . and on off camber spots.

I don't know about Toyota but I lost a clip on the diesel and ordered another one.
It's a common part that breaks or gets lost for the fords (cause there always broken down)

well, i've been tinkering with the 4runner in the heat this week and got it all back together, but a few times too many after chasing down water leaks and figuring out vacuum lines w/o internet access.

I haven't fixed the exhaust manifold so it is a bit smokey when the engine is running. Combination of exhaust leak and penetrating oil cooking off.

The engine oil seems to be a bit aerated after 5min of warming up and it has my attention. Not milkshakey, just a little aerated. I'm hoping that it is just some gasket softener that fell into an oil passage when i scraped the headgasket off. No white smoke and the engine idles perfectly. :bang:

Hey i just saw your thread, ive done pretty much everything to my old 22re before i sold it. Like you said before im right across the street if you need some advise or help. ill be out in the driveway all weekend getting the 4runner ready for rausch, swing by if your out.

well, oil looks like chocolate milk now.
None of the classic symptoms of headgasket leak.
I'm thinking that it is an internal leak at the head or at the timing cover/water pump.

going to pull the plugs and have a look.
change the oil and see what i find...

on a day that is not so hot.
