ok here's an update, not much new still fitting the sections together, more grinding..
but its on hold for 2 reasons, one the exhaust manifold for my crew cab finally showed up(need my truck back working), and I sprained my wrist dove hunting thursday.. and holding a grinder hurts.. give it a couple of days and I should be able to get back to work...

sorry for being so long between updates, sick kids and life..
did get the frame fitted and working on triming and welding it back together,
In the mean time the rest of the parts I had been waiting for showed up for my crew cab.. for those of you that dont know I have a 3500hd chevy that I am doing a cummins swap on and had been hunting for the correct exhaust manifold. the one I needed was off a bus or a small Mack.. and with what the dollar is worth today buying one from cummins was not an option $$$$$.. finally found a new one back east for a reasonable price and it showed last week so have been working on the crew cab.. here are some detour photos....

mounted the turbo and build a 3 1/2 down tube to a 4 inch exhaust with a big a$$ muffler, (have a 4" straight pipe on the other cummins too loud with a trailer).. the stack may end up a little higher depends on how loud it is in the cab. the next two photos are the manifold and when we painted the truck to give you an idea what it looks like. its rated for 18k gvw .
I thought this was a build of a TOYOTA!?!?!!?
