Hi all,

I'd like to mount a Blue Sea switch near the battery for winch power cutoff. There is space next to battery/fusebox for the switch, and I'm envisioning a sheet metal bracket that attaches to the existing mounting holes in the fender.

Is there any interest among makers/customers for this? Thanks!

there are two threaded holes in that area of the fender that i used to attached some alum angle and flat bar for fuse holders. a standoff may have been used too because of the holes height difference. great small chunk of real estate near the battery. best of luck!

I have that BlueSea switch along with the ACR mounted there.
Dual Battery w/Blue Sea System ACR & ARB Comp
With it there I can mount the fuseable link box to either battery, as you can see from my write up.
I have made a 2nd bracket for a friend, so think there would be interest. I think the Blue Sea kit is the cheapest way to add a 2nd battery.

I could probably throw that together for you.

I'd need to know the overall size of the switch, the hole diameters and locations of the holes. Or I could just make it as big as possible so you could mount other things too.
Cool. Making it as big as possible would be a plus... now I'm thinking I'd also like to mount the fusible link and a connector to plug in the handheld winch controller.

Here you go, for the acr. I made mine a little small and it was a challege to assemble. The cables are large to carry 120A so beware of routing them if doing folds to stiffen.

For 06-07 owners, I've got one developed and released. Carbon Fiber/Fiberglass.

So rough first prototype. Lots of cleaning up will happen. I'll keep working on it over the weekend and hopefully have something by Sunday evening.

In the meantime, if people with 1999-2002 and 2003-2005 can verify the same bolts exist on the fender, that'd be awesome. (mines an '06)

I like your design better than my home brew hack.

This is an 05

Here you go. I may have extra bracket pieces to take pictures of. I'll check later today.
Both the switch and the ACR mount on the same one piece bracket that attaches to the weld nuts in the fender.
