The Nov. 2nd is my daughter's birthday, so I'm out for that weekend.

I would have suggested Nov. 10th to meet in Prescott, but I see on another thread here that that is the "Earnhardt Toyota invasion" day, which I would like to drive down for... How about a caravan of Prescott Cruisers to that event for the day? Say, meeting at 7am in PV, to get to Mesa by 9?

Otherwise, the weekend of the 17th would also work for a meet in Prescott.

Works for me.

Great. Since it's the direction we're going, I'd be glad to head from Prescott to PV to meet up somewhere there... Brian, Cody, whatever meet location works best for either/both of you... and any others that want to come along. Sounds like a fun day.

Change of plans... I found out today I'll need to be back in Phoenix Friday evening, Nov. 9. So, if you're still headed down the Earnhardt Invasion, I won't be able to join you from Prescott. :frown:

I'm still planning on being there at Earnhardt's, but will leave from our place in Phoenix.

Let's aim to set up a Prescott/PV meet for Nov. 17th. Name the location and time, Brian...

Brian?

Did you wanna caravan down to the Toyota thingy?

Cody and I are planning to meet on Saturday Nov. 17 in the AM sometime at Fry's. We will try to talk with the store manager and get permission to use the lot. If the rest of you want to join us, feel free! From there we may look at a calender and choose a monthly Saturday to meet in the AM. We will go from there.

This didn't happen. I did not hear from Cody, and I am having a number of people for Thanksgiving. My "patio" was a pile of lumber at the time. That wasn't going to work very well!
Now, tomarrow is Thanksgiving, my deck is together, and my big job in Paulden is finished. My time is again my own! I want to try again soon!

We'll be up in Prescott the second weekend in December (12/6-12/9). That Saturday would be perfect... well past T-day, and not too close to all the end of the year happenings... probably the last chance for me before Jan... :D

Yeah, sorry about last Saturday, I got roped into running down to Wickenburg to repo a car (long story).

While its a bit colder, I'm still up for whatever.

Yeah, my little :D should have had "chattering teeth" after the 21 degrees last night at our house. My wife is asking, "if it's already this cold in late-November, how cold will it be in Jan and Feb?" We are enjoying it, however, and the fall colors are amazing.

But this first cold snap made me start looking for the block-heater plug (...that I thought I would never use...) under the diesel's hood. I think I found it on the firewall, but all the text is in Japanese (great!?). I will probably try it one of these nights, before it gets "really cold" and the diesel decides it won't start (Which actually has happened in Phoenix once, when it got down into the high-20's, but I had 100% biodiesel in it at the time. Now in the winter, I usually try to stay at about 80%/20% bio/petro diesel, just to keep it from gelling so bad, and I haven't had a problem starting up here so far)

So, if Saturday Dec. 8th is a possibility for everyone, I'm up for it. Keep me posted here or by PM...

Let's work on another Sat. AM sometime soon. Dec. 8 might work. It is getting colder, so how about 10 AM? I am freezing my axx off right now!
BioD, get used to this please. It gets really cold here. Not like Minnesota, but what fool would live there? Our lowest temp last winter was 11 in Prescott Valley. It was lower in Prescott!
We are just now having our first shock. We will live thru it!
Tonight I was building the railing for my new deck. I worked outside until my beer froze. It was so cold that I put my beer in a cooler wrap to keep it from freezing. Then I called "NUFF!"
If I want a slush, I'll have blue raspberry, not Busch! My chop saw can suffer. I'll turn it on once in a while to keep it warm.

So, where/when do we meet tomorrow?

Probably will be pretty wet for a trail run in my "still-awaiting-lockers" 60... :frown:

But I'd be glad for a meet up at a warm coffee shop somewhere, and figure out where we go some future weekend when the weather lightens up a bit... :bounce:

Theres lots of stuff goin on in Sedona with the Sedonafest event Fri-Sat-Sun.

I know for sure I'm going down today. I'll keep an eye out here for details about meeting somewhere tomorrow...and if any of you guys wanna talk me into caravaning out to Sedona again, I could probably be persuaded...

This has been dormant thru the Holidays. Meeting in any way has been difficult at this time of year.
Now that Christmas and New Years is over, let's try again. We could try to gather a few trucks at my own hut. I haven't had time to do any landscaping, so my front "yard" is all gravel parking space. We could fit a lot of cruisers here. How does Saturday, the 19th, at 10 AM sound? We can use my front area and garage. We could use this to find a more permanent meeting place and time. Once we do that, I can print cards that we can use to invite others. Remember that we are trying to be a CSC affiliate, not a wild card. Do not do anything that Phil would not do! That leaves very little out of bounds.

WWPND?

So you're all gonna sit around and polish your rigs and then haul a$$ down the nearest dirt road?

I have found that a nice inch thick coating of mud cuts down on the trail scratches.

Brian and all - I'll plan on being there on the 19th... PM me the address.

I have a 9am teaching commitment for an hour or so, but will head over straight after, ready for whatever gets planned...

Now I am sure that Christmas is really over! You all are paying attention again...
The 19th it is. There is an easier location to find. The Fry's store lot at Glassford and Florentine in PV. Look near the gas station on the corner for other Cruisers. The lot is a bit torn up for realignment right now, but we can find room.
I will be there from 10 to 11 at least. For directions call 928-277-6622.

Do you guys plan on going on some sort of run or are you just gonna hang out for a little while? I know I don't have a cruiser, but I might be able to make it anyways.
