I have this “Toyota” style metal grille.

Could use some cleanup but otherwise in good shape.

Do you happen to know the year or backstory etc?

I’m sorry, I do not. They were installed on 70 series Land Cruisers in the ‘90s.

It is sold regardless.

Yup. Looks like Toyota Part No. 53101-90K00 is hard to find these days. One of those things that searching google leads back to your other related MUD post.

Part lookup on ToyoDIY shows the following for 53101-90K00 (Looks like '84 - 89'):

Here's what ToyoDIY is showing for 53101-60060 (Looks like '90 - July of '99):

And for grill 53101-60250 (Looks like Aug of '99 - July '08):

To be honest, this grill quest is just for hanging one up on the wall in my office at this point.

Each grill has different levels of availability:

1) 53101-90K00: Using google, I could not find one for sale.
2) 53101-60060: Readily available at a reasonable price (<$200) through US Toyota dealer parts websites.
3) 53101-60250: Available at a higher price (>$300-$500) through foreign websites that I am not familiar with.

I was surprised that the earlier grill with spelled out "TOYOTA" is cheaper than the newer grill with the emblem. The cheapest option, of course, is the post facelift 2007 grill without the headlight cutouts.

I'll work on getting some pics shared but we stock the following:

The 53101-90K00 (was our part# EXT90K00) and 53101-90K01 (was our part#EXT53101) are both globally NLA from new sources. We sold our last EXT53101 in 2015, the EXT90K00 was a few years before that.

I'm also trying to figure out if there is a unique part number for the Sandy Taupe colored grill on the Australian market 70th Anniversary edition GXL. Anyone know how a newly released limited edition version handles unique body colored parts?

I documented it so I wouldn’t have to remember (because I can’t).

I also have this spare plastic one I’m trying to get rid of. Make an offer if you want it.

Willing to ship? I'd hang it on a wall at the shop!

Thank you for the offer, but this is not one of the versions I'm looking for at the moment. Besides, looks like Kurt jumped on this. You buyin' or sellin' Kurt?! Funny to miss out on two 70 grills just in the very first page of a thread.

Selling new only, collecting budget friendly used ones for shop wall art :D

Anyone else have 70 series grill/s willing to sell and ship? Preferably with some kind of backstory such as year/model/country of original use, etc.

Also, can anyone confirm the width of these grills? They look to be about 52 inches across...
