Just to clarify, does this mean you went to 8-E AND 21-G ? Apologies for so many questions, I just don't want to screw this up or have to re-work too much. Also, updating the spreadsheet for everyone so I want it to be accurate.

Yes I believe so but now that I look at it I see I used E8 again. I don't remember how I did that. Once you get into it you will realize there are groups of ground wires.
Sorry, running into another question while I'm doing it. I'm on Plug C and noticed the OP put a note for pin 7 (rear heat) that he didn't use it because he had rear A/C. I have a climate controler in my 2002 behind the first row of seats on the drivers side. It looks like you used pin 7 it and connected it to G3. So I'm not sure if I need it or not.
I don't have rear heat just rear AC to my knowledge but I have that exact same rear controller. If the wire was there I hooked it up regardless of whether I had the heat or not. Be sure to post any pics that may help the next guy who undertakes the project.
Alright so everything's working except the Diff Lock light isn't coming on the dash when I push the button, I can hear an electric click after I push the button but I don't get the dash light (VSC Off). The only thing I didn't do was run that E8 wire two places, I'll need an extra peice of wire to do that. Maybe it has to be grounded both places that you wrote it in at in your picture ? Does E8 ground the diff lock wires maybe?
E8 is a ground wire. I would try to run a jumper just to see if that is the problem. E8 does not show to be directly tied to the Diff Light. The main terminals are D5, D4 and D19
Turns out that E8 needed to go to the other three way group of grounds, so four wires total in that group. Everything is working like a charm now. I'll post the updated spreadsheet soon along with pics and notes from my install. Still waiting for my new head unit and will include those wiring notes as well.
Thanks for updating us. I knew there had to be a reason I wrote the E8 in two places like that. I appreciate you updating the spreadsheet. Posting pictures here is about the extent of my computer tech abilities. With enough documentation this can be a viable option for those who have the 01-02 LC and are ready to upgrade the head unit. With enough pictures and spreadsheets hopefully more will do the mod.
Wrapping up my install tonight, I've replaced and upgraded the front speakers (tweeters + woofers), the rear subwoofer, and installed a new Pioneer NEX head unit with Apple CarPlay, and new 5 channel amplifier. I'm going all active crossovers for the front speakers and subwoofer, I'm not running any signal to the rear door speakers. The last gremlin I have is though the powered antennae rises out of the fender when the power comes on to the H/U my "up" antennae button doesn't cause it to rise, the "down" button does cause it to go down an inch or so.
The pioneer only has 1 antannae input, so I plugged the larger of the two antannae male ends into it, the smaller on is not plugged in to anything. Not sure if that's the issue or if one of my 50+ wires didn't get connected correctly....

The antenna should go up when the head unit is powered on. The up and down buttons should still work. Here is the diagram of the area in question.

Using the Pinout spread sheet, this is overall a pretty straightforward job, all the hard work was done by the previous posters. (We are all forever in their debt)
I sourced the pigtails for the Non-nav control from a user on ih8mud who was parting out their cruiser and I got the bezel with controls off ebay. Total damage on them combined was under $200.
Label your pin connectors for easy reference, and always cut one wire and then connect it because some of the colors do repeat and it would be easy to screw this up if you cut all the wires first and then tried to match them up. Every wire is color for color a match so that helped me feel pretty good as I was going through it.
The only tricky stuff was the 3 or 4 wire joints for ground, just make sure you know they exist so you don't have to re-work or resolder later. I've highlighted them in yellow for you on the spreadsheet for a heads up. See example of the 4 wire joint below.
A few old pins had several left over wires, see below.
If you follow the pinout and made good connections you should get this....

I can't even describe how awesome it feels to have much better climate control but especially 2017 technology with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Wave Navigation, etc in my 2002 Landcruiser.

Looks great. Can you tell us what the problem was with your antenna? And on the new pinout guide under Box B9 and D22 you have them highlighted indicating multiple wires but you only list 2?
Sorry, I didn't mean to highlight those for everyone, that was just for me to go back and troubleshoot. Turns out my Blue-Yellow wire was going to the wrong Blue-Yellow. I remember having to guess on that wire because I was distracted and might have miss counted when I was counting the pins on the old connector. All fixed now. I updated the link to remove the highlight also.

Did you start off with Factory Nav and got a set of manual climate controls?
This is the issue with my 2002 LX470 - the Nav and the Climate control are part of the display rather than having knobs you turn.

Yeah sorry, the start this project you'll need
1) A Non-Navigation Climate control and entire bezel (A/C vents, diff button, antennae button, clock, etc) from a Non-Nav version of your car. I found mine on Ebay for around a hundred bucks.

2) The pigtails (the 4 connectors and their wires) that plug into the back of the Non-Nav bezel. Ideally, you can get this from the same person/car you're getting your Bezel, but the ebay sellers wouldn't work with me on this so I got the pigtails from someone parting out their cruiser in the classified section of this forum.
I now have my old Nav unit and Bezel in the garage, I'll probably sell these on Ebay.

That HeadUnit I installed is a Pioneer that does both Carplay and Android Auto, when I did this mod I still had an Iphone, I just got the google Pixel 2 yesterday. The main reason I went with the Pioneer though was because I ripped out all of old factory stereo and am running a fully active crossover front stage now and the Pioneer has a really nice flexible crossover and time alignment section in it. (I plan to do a separate post on my stereo upgrade with a little more step by step)
Also, YOU ONLY HAVE 33k miles???? I just hit 250k in my 2002.
