Power steering install issues on my 1978 FJ40 (1 Viewer)

I’m currently having same problem with my Mini-Truck box lining up with steering column. My truck is an ‘81 and having issues with Daystar body mounts as well.

I’m currently having same problem with my Mini-Truck box lining up with steering column. My truck is an ‘81 and having issues with Daystar body mounts as well.

By far the most common issue would be the body mounts or the tub not being square on the chassis.

Would a Borgeson universal joint be my best choice given my:

1. Aftermarket Tub
2. Body Mount Issues
3. Possible frame issues

New rag joint = $52
borgeson universal joint = $100 ~ $150

And do I need a Double Joint or should Single Joint suffice?

so I read the whole thread and it went dead. Did the pulley work? Does the rig have power steering? I tell you the next time someone tells me to do a search and I read 7 pages for nothing...............

Bragging or complaining? LOL. Just added Saginaw PS to my 78 FJ40. Should have done it on all three of the FJ40 six i have owned.
