Wrong again. You just don't get it. This was nothing more than a fishing trip. Bahahahaha.

Bark bark bark. When your owner comes home you'll go silent.

You are fishing with badly wrong maths and mpg claims?
In that case, I hope you catch crabs.

Is this really necessary? Really? Do you often talk to people that you don't know face to face like this? Regardless, the thread request is no chit-chat so that it remains a useful tool for the rest of us. Let's keep it reasonable, thanks.

My 1996 HZJ77
135,000kms, 33s, 4.11s and the aerodynamics of a toaster.

I am driving a bit quicker than usual now, sticking it to 100km/h and going highway wise.
Using 2cycle oil (TC-W3) 200:1 (roughly 300ml per 70L) and 4+ premium fuel additive (30ml a tank)

11.5-12.5L per 100kms with a 5% correction. I am wondering if the powerservice/2 cycle oil was a better additive mixture because I got slightly better fuel economy by about 1L/100kms. Yet again i drove 90-95kms/h.

Curious to know if I will get the same fuel economy with the G-turbo. Only time will tell.

'85 4Runner
3L Turbo and top mount intercooler
Soft top, 500 lbs of armor, winch, spare, high lift, spare parts, etc.
35" MTR's
6oz Marvell Mystery Oil in every tank

60-65 MPH gives me 24-25 USMPG
65+ turns up the RPMs and gets me 19-22

I just replaced an alternator with a badly dragging bearing, so let's see how that changes things.

20-22mpg

Mpg.: 20-22
Engine: 1983 3b with denco turbo
Gears/tires/trans: 4.11 (3rds from a 62) , bfg mt 33x10.5, h55f
odometer: 345,xxx mi. uncorrected for gears tires though i estimate via gps that the mileage is 4% higher than what the odo reads.
The variation in mileage has been noted with highway vs city driving, though trips involving elevation gain on the highways yield the lower mileage. Typical speed 65mph highways, climbing grades slower depends on egt. Truck is always a little loaded with gear and its an fj 60.

Hope that helps.:bounce:

15 mpg 6.5 km/l

1987 BJ70 3B standard
245/75R15 M/T tires
no lift
that was over 650km and never over 110km/h but often down to 60 on hills with a fairly light right foot. 500 km was on tar roads with about 100 on dirt roads and about 50 on trails.
am i using too much fuel or is that about right? motor has 100k km on it since major rebuild.

I've only recently started driving a 3B, 5spd, 3.73 gears on 32 inch M/T's and I am getting a 11L/100km or 9km/L. This is in a lifted 60 series with a home brew turbo. This economy is measured over 3 tanks of mixed use driving.

From what I've read, you should see mileage like I am seeing. Yours seem thirsty!

Dear Mod,

Kindly remove posts 136, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143 and 144.
Those are all chit chat. And my post too about the chit chat, ie this one.

Lets keep this thread clean.

60-62 mph all highway
35" KO2s 50psi (E-rated)
~23.5 mpg after km->mi and tire size correction

1988 BJ71 (13BT)
33x10.5 R15 (no roof rack and easy on the skinny pedal.)
25 MPG average (never driving over 100KM/h)
Data from earlier this year, many 8-10 hour driving days. Seems like once I get under 2000' elevation I gain 1-2 MPG.
