Hi everyone,
After a while of looking for an lx570 and finally finding one a 1000km's away going there, looking at it buying it and finally driving back i now have an LX570 in my driveway, however there are no maintenance records after 2021 when it was imported to Europe, it has driven 10.000km's since. Now having the car, as a precaution i want to change all fluids.
i found on here that to prolong engine life it is better to use a higher viscosity engine oil: 5w30,
for differentials and the ahc from what i found a 75w90 oil should be fine,
the transfer case and transmission i didn't find the exact oil mentioned on here,
does anyone have any tips on the processes and the oils that i plan to use?
and any other maintenance items i should watch out for?
also is there anyone with experience of a broken A/C system on these cars?

Your choices sound fine. AMSoil makes a 75w-85 (factory spec) API-5 that would be good for the diffs, or you can run 75w-90. For the transfer case most use the actual Toyota fluid which is kind to the metal in there.

What year is your LX?

its a 2014, is the difference between 75w85 and 75w90 that big that you cant use the same in both?

I’d suggest spending some time in the forum FAQs. Good info there that will answer many questions. For example, Here’s a thread on the differential and transfer case oil change. The transmission uses Toyota WS and the AHC has its own fluid.

Gear oil specs have changed some over time so just make sure you get the correct weight for your year. I'm running Redline in my diffs/t-case but any reputable brand should be fine. I'd stick with the magical Toyota ATF for the trans. Plenty of threads here on procedures for changing fluids. All pretty easy to DIY. Just make sure you have everything you need before you start. Broken AC might be a can of worms...
