Nice! LHD too!?

Yea, LHD. This truck was originally a Middle East market truck. Some weird option or lack thereof. Chrome winch bumper, chrome electric mirrors, but no heat or a/c. 3F with h55f. I really like it.

Sid

I just got an OME suspension (2.5"). Here are some before and after pics of my 85 BJ70.

First pic shows how I got the truck last year. Tired original suspension, pretty alloys, 31 x 10.5 street tires.

Second pic shows new skinny 32" MTs on steelies (235/85/16)

Last pic is with the new suspension. The old springs were sagging 1.5" so my net lift is 4". And what a difference in ride quality!

^^ Nice ride, Cayman Dennis. Are those factory Toyota steel rims? Looks great. Where in Canada are you located?

Thanks. Yep, those rims are Toyotas. They were used for the spare on 4Runners back in the early 90s. I'm living in Winnipeg (if you call that living!).

Cheers,
Dennis

Gotcha, thanks for the info. LOL at the Winnipeg comment.... :)

Dennis,
Do you know the backspacing and wheel measurments? i.e. 4.00" backspacing and 16"x7" wheel?

Thanks,
Sid

I believe the Toyota part # might be STL69358U45. 18-hole 16"x7" rims with (I think) just 15mm offset. Nothing rubs for me but again my tires are skinny.

Cheers,
Dennis

Nice, I used the same rims in my Bj70 with the same tire size ...no problem..Dennis, can you post more pictures of the sliders?

Well it has had some lift, some rubber, some barwork, some flares and some TLC.. It will soon be ready for Daily Driver duties.

When I got it ..

After a day in the shed

This weekend it will get side steps. brush guards and then windows tint and rear bar.
