Yes, 35s, though I don’t recommend them if you do much highway driving. I can barely get the 3L to push me up to 80km/h on a flat road! But they work great on the muddy steep roads here in Costa Rica.Nice rig! We almost have twins, but my LJ79 is 1993What tyre size is that ? Looks like 35s, always been tempted to go one size higher from my 33s.

No turbo. I rarely am on highways, mostly dirt, gravel and sand, so I haven’t really sought that out yet. I like to say that this baby won’t get you there fast, but she’ll always get you thereYeah I bet. I'm assuming you haven't put a turbo on it yet, it would help greatly! (just needs to be done properly and always monitor temperatures).

There was a LJ79 in the early mid 90’s, don’t know if specific to LHDVery odd!
In most of the world, the 79 was reserved for the pickup/ute version of the HD Land Cruiser! The wagons were typically labelled 77/78/76
Well, I can say today was a successful day for I have learned something new! Does this mean I can go back to bed now?!?!There was a LJ79 in the early mid 90’s, don’t know if specific to LHD
I wish I knew. Bought it in Panama and it had 350k hard km on it. I’ve had to rebuild the engine and drive train. Now starting to focus on aesthetics / details. Its getting there, though!Definitely! Think its also same colour as mine, did yours have side stripes aswell ?

Looks great! We’re twinning indeed! It's already looking wicked!
I was a little more lucky, only couple previous owners, 140k of road use and completely standard. This is how it was, almost 9 years ago.

40 series tow trucks everywhere lol. It’s coolNot mine, but this seemed like the best place to share. @Pura Vida, @PuraVida77, @PuraVidaLC, lots of cool Land Cruisers in Costa Rica, but this is my favorite so far.

Thanks. I’ve seen this exact model on other trucks and hated the look. They match this truck nicely imo. I just need a bigger tire now.I don’t normally like Method wheels, but those look amazing.
