YouTube - porsche 4x4 action

In my opinion it is about par with all the other 4x4 sport cars and utitlities that are made for commuting, heading to ski lodge, etc. Anything truly rugged and it will hang up and not be able to do it. Smooth approach angle and no sharp breakover make low ride height vehicles look good on this stuff.

When I see one go through DANIEL on Uwharrie or through MOAB with the Land Cruisers and Jeeps...then I will be impressed. Rally racing in desert or on dirt roads....even baja is a different type of offroading than most people are involved. Good company but is not an offroad vehicle in my opinion any more than a Volvo 4x4 station wagon or the Olds Bravada 4x4 or BMW X5.

Brock don't forget Porsche got it start building small 4x4 in world war two. With a lift and tires they would be decent. I thought for a second mike was going to get one but I guess he would miss your ribbing if he left the club

I owned two turdeggs before I got back into Land Cruisers. With some good tires you would be surprised what they can do. Daniel with a little work and maybe yes. But if you buy one for rock crawling your an idiot.

If you buy one for all the gadgets, and great onroad and gravel and dirt performance they are awesome. Just expect to have deep deep pockets. The v-10 rocked but the v-8 was no slouch either.

LOL....yeah but think i would go for one of the THINGs if I wanted retro 4x4 from Germany...LOL

Well I just finished washing her. Looks like a silver bullet instead of turdegg.

I even took the car seats out to give her a real good cleaning.

I always thought these would be fun to mod-up to rock crawling worthiness. Just don't think there is enough support for true conversion into 4x4 and low range. You'd have to throw some highly custom made drive train under it to get it there. Loved the look of them though.

OOOOHHHHHH...so sad
