another post on the rear belts go me thinking. i’ve got about a inch and quarter long by 1/2 wide fraying are the edge of my seat belt.
it’s the usual deal and will slowly get worse until it is completely unusable.
is there a safe and practical way to fix it?!

Dude.....go back to the OTHER thread where you just asked the same question!

maybe we are missing each other. i’m asking about a repair. the other thread is about swaps.

There is a repair vendor listed in the other one as well. For rewebbing.

Safety Restore. They did my driver's belt last year for like $75 with less than a week turnaround.

THANKS gents. sorry for any confusion. i meant to follow up with a photo when i posted.
can i also please ask if there is any kind of temporary fix prior to sending it out? my taco belt just started fraying and it was all over in short order.
so i’m also wondering is i could do some kind of temp epoxy fix before having to send it out.
experience? thoughts?
THANKS

I would get that replaced sooner rather than later. I would not want that between me and life or death in an accident.

Mine looked worse than that.

Buy a passenger belt (or even a worn DS full assembly) from someone like @slow95z or @arcteryx .

Swap it ASAP.

OR: Swap in a third row belt.

Send your original belt (or the purchased worn full assembly) to Safety Restore for a reman.

Install the returned new belt from Safety Restore and re-install your third row belt.

This way, you ALWAYS have a good belt in front of you.

That's basically what I did to alleviate a problem until I had a more permanent fix.
