Will the shirts be available with a 60 on em?

*IF* there is another t shirt printing, it's most likely it will be a 40, because it's an icon. It was on all the shirts last year. But there will be a 60 decal (and thank you, I see that you found my Etsy store!), in addition to a 40 decal that will be designed tomorrow. My SoCal friend who is printing the shirts owns an FJC AND a 60, but the general feeling is that "everyone loves a 40." It *is* the original FJ

If there is a 40 made, I would pick up one of those. Otherwise I'm perfectly happy with the 60 logo! There is just no losing!
As soon as the FJ40 decals are up I will be ordering some of each.

same here. Thanks for making multiple decals. This event was started with Landcruisers and they willl always remain an integral part of ALL of our lives. I'm sure PismoJim would be stoked to get a 40 decal from you. . . .
Historically, the Surf and Turf has been a Landcruiser event. It has only been recently that the FJ Cruiser crowd has infiltrated this event and although I like FJ Cruisers, I don't consider them a landcruiser. They also have a bunch of FJ Cruiser only events that they can attend each year so I kind of feel jiltedthat now they are featured on the T-shirt. Kind of like "lets just shove the old guys out of the way because we (FJC) are here now"
wow....way off base. LOL we are jealous of you old guys and would never shove you aside. we only ask to join in your reindeer games and have fun too. as kara said....alot of FJC owners have become or are becoming old school LC owners as well.
we love our trucks cause the one thing they do that no other CAR can do is...bring us together, under the stars to remote locations....great friends (old and new), good beer and a warm campfire..........thats what its all about!!!!!
the fjc's of SoCal and NorCal have never never never even considered taking over pismo jims event. the cool thing is....that your group and our group both had the same brilliant idea this year....TO NOT LET THE FUN END...and so now hopefully we can become a big giant group of WE...instead of "yours" and "ours".
i hope we didnt piss folks off by the fjc logo design. as i mentioned earlier.....this was just a design and idea for a small group of us that wanted some schwag...and from there it has grown. kara and i had discussed vehicle type on the logo...if we had known interest would grow like it has...it most likely would have been designed with a different concept. i'm glad kara can get a decal out for you guys as well.
anyone in touch with pismo jim? is he planning on stopping out and having fun this year?

I agree. Thumbs up to the guys making the designs. All thumbs down to those crying about it. That alone would make me not want to produce any merchandise whatsoever.

It's all good. I'm working on the 40 design this afternoon. ...and I don't care what category my FJC does or doesn't fall in, I freakin' love it and it and I'm having waaay more fun with it than the 20-year-old 2WD Nissan Pathfinder I had before it!

I don't worry about that too much since long before I owned an 80 series mall cruiser I was already "infiltrating" events in my hilux. They are all made by Toyota and have low range.
I'll bridge the gap, I'm bringing an fj40 and an FJC.

Sorry I wasn't trying to complain or bad mouth any body. Thanks a ton for putting the effort into the decal and shirt. My wife says I'm stubborn, I just have never liked the fj from the first drive in one. Just my personal feelings but I still love getting tougher with people and having a fun time. Its the same way with the jeep guys in my local club, we joke about each others vehicle all the time. Once again thanks for putting all the time into pleasing those of us who whine.
Not really whining, just stating facts from years of SnT events and personal observations. That said, thats very nice of you Betty to do the FJ40 version. I'm down with that and will be buying one or two to support your willingness to "reach across the isle" ( an apt phrase at election time

Well, I dropped the ball and fell asleep on the sofa for a bit tonight 
, but I've got a big cuppa coffee and am dialing in the 40 design 
. Eric is busy printing t shirts (the FJC design) right now and giving me feedback on my 40 artwork. Stay tuned. It will be cool. SO, YOU GUYS WANT A TnS FJ40 T SHIRT OR WHAT?!?!?!

Well, it looks like there are LC t shirts for the event after all, so we will not be printing our shirts with any variation other than the FJC that is already in production. Thanks everyone for your interest.
