Anyone going from the Northwest? I am looking for someone traveling from TNS back to the Northwest that has a little extra room. The items are TH350 transmission (Clean/rebuilt) 205 Tcase might be a bit dirty, and a box about the size of a shoe box with a few metal plates. The parts are at Georg (orangefj45) shop in Stockton, I am looking to get them to southern Oregon. I am in Klamath Falls on HWY 97 but can drive over to I-5 Medford area if you are traveling the 5.

I'm really itching to go to this, but my FJ40 is running like poop. Any carb Guru's going to be in attendance and willing to lend a hand in tuning? The only way I can seem to get it to idle is to run the idle super high (PM for more details). If not, I might just be forced to take my pickup instead and be jealous of the Cruisers. I can fit more firewood in the pickup though!

Beer will obviously be provided for your time and expertise (along with monetary compensation if necessary).:beer:

Mark at Marks Offroad is a Carb Guru, but I'm not sure if he is coming. You may want to check with him. :cheers:

Check for vacuum leaks. Check all hose connections that eventually lead to the intake, and if you don't find anything pull off your carb and check to see if you have cracks in your intake manifold.

Hopefully I will be seeing you at the dunes. I have also ordered a few stickers for good measure.

Oh - and just a reminder - you do have to register on Etsy to make a purchase, but the first two text fields for entering your first and last name are OPTIONAL. All you need is a user name and an email address. You can check out using PayPal, and PayPal has the option of checking out as a guest.

**IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO REGISTER ON ETSY, send me a PM with the quantity and color of each type of decal you want. I'll set them aside for you and you can pay me at the beach. If we don't find each other at the event, we will work out an exchange afterward.
 
For those of you who ordered decals and need to find me :poof: at Pismo to collect your loot:
I :steer: an FJ Cruiser - black cherry (dark reddish-purple). I will have the decal artwork on my red dune flag, and I am planning to light up my rig at night like a goofy mobile Christmas tree with a 24' strand of 100 blue LED lights. If we don't find each other at Pismo, we'll be in touch after the event and arrange an exchange.

Is there any one that could bring a rear seat for a fj60 from Davis to pismo. I live in San luis obispo so I could meet you be for you hit the beach

I live in Santa Rosa and could possibly do it if nobody else could. It's a good ways out of my way so I'd ask for some gas money to comp for the distance (but not my time). Just let me know!

Weather and tides

I just checked the weather for this coming weekend and it looks good,does anybody know how to check for the high and low tide times?:bang:
 
I might not be able to go now. :frown:

A coworker approached me and asked about what my hours were going to be when I start college in January, and I still haven't sorted everything out with the school, so I didn't have a real answer for him. He wanted to know because they want to move me up to being an operator and split my time between operating and inspection. ... so I really need to go talk to someone at the school to figure out when I can take placement tests, and when my classes will be.

...plus im getting sick....:doh:
