Are we caravanning down from the Bay Area? I want to drive 55 the whole way because fuel is soooooo pricey. But really, we should caravan.
I am totally down to do that, I still haven't got any friends to commit to going, so caravaning would be perfect. .... Plus, what's cooler than a caravan of landcruisers?

Im in south San Jose, so let me know what the plan is.

I am coming down From Pacifica and will be towing a trailer. I have a hard time sticking to 55mph. I don't have a definite time of departure yet.

V8 power+sand+hill+broke down 40= tow strap

Boys will be boys, show off.

That's the plan if I make it.

Anyone put a class a on the beach?

Been with a class c and a toyhauler, but never a big hog. Wondering if I should plan for a tow before u get in the sand....

make sure you keep it at 55 within 60 miles of King City (if you're on Hwy 101)...unless you feel like donating some funds to their coffers...

I've seen it done...sometimes successfully...but not necessarily down by where the camp has been set up.

King City is a section where I am pretty careful.

There might be a couple of trucks to help pull you out.
