I don't run any spacers. I would like to run a small spacer, its on the list.

You getting any rubbing on your frame or control arms with the 35s?

When's the next run planned? I have no lift but the sliders and bumper make up for that a bit.

Gonna be a rough one with no lift. Had a buddy with us that ran with a 851/862 combo and he was dragging everywhere. We'll probably plan a trip for next month. Hopefully you can make it out with us.

Very nice!

Is this a run that a non-locked 80 could make?

I don't think so. Some of the guys had Aussie Rear Lockers only and made it OK but they had bigger lifts with 35's

I have an 850/863 lift with 285's and I didn't have enough clearance for most obstacles on Jon Bull Trail. It made for some interesting carnage on the under carriage. Thank God for sliders. That and GREAT spotting got me through.

Here are some more pics from the Gold Mountain and Jon Bull Trail Ride yesterday.

i didnt consider the lift, but yeah. no lift and no lockers would definitely be a problem.

Who's holding out on photos?! Load em up guys

Alright, I'll post a few that are not copies of what are already on here, but first I want to say what a great run that was, although a very long day. Thanks Ruffino and CJ for rounding all of us up, what a great group of people. It amazes me how the 80 series Landcruiser can create a common bond for so many different people who have never met, and get them together for something like this and have such a great time. I love it! It was great meeting all of you and putting faces to the names I see here on the forum - Ruffino "cruiserruf", CJ "pinoytoys", Sam "S.CarolinaFZJ80", Nick "SDTLC80", Charles "Hawkeye". And Mike, nice meeting you and thanks for the good spotting, sorry about the flare.... but now you have a story to tell, :D. Okay, now a few shots:

It looks like it was a great trip.

Next time . . . . hopefully . . . .

Great pictures Derrick! It was definitely a fun trip. Meeting all of you was great and I look forward to trip again real soon. How about a run next month? Where would you guys like to go?

That Bullfrog run sounds really good to me and I would like to make it an overnite camping trip because of the distance. Late Nov. or early Dec. would work best, just throwing it out there.

I finally got to watch the videos (work puts a block on youtube) and MAN you guys were utilizing those lockers.... A rear Aussie locker will definitely needs to go on my long some day list.....

Derrick, sounded like you got to christen your rear bumper! Watching the video I could see it coming, Ihad a feeling you were going to gas it off of that rock too fast.

Thanks for sharing guys!

Yeah, the adrenaline rush tends to make my right foot a little heavy .
