Hey guys - I'm considering an ARB bullbar (new style) on my FJ build and need some photo-advice/motivation.

However, I can't seem to find pics of a lifted 40 running 37's + with the ARB bumper setup. Most of 'em seem to be the ICON models and other stock-ish rigs.

I'm also having to convert the ARB over to a non 8274 upright style winch in order to use my Superwinch in that spot. Maybe I'll just mount the EP09 in the rear and buy an 8274 for the front work - hmm..

Anyone?

Bump for no pic responses...guess its voted OUT!

So no one has a well equipped lifted 40 running the ARB bullbar??

Sad

How about a lifted rig running 33s? Interested in seeing that for reference?

I have a older ARB and a 4in lift and 33 if cut the fenders I could fit 35 ... I think 37 would hit the bumper .... Hope it helps plus I love to post pic ;)

Here's a 45 with big tires and an old-school ARB. I know the new ARBs are minimal compared to the old design, but I still wonder if rigs running 37's are more apt to also run high(er) clearance rock-crawling bumpers?

Very nice

I think this one is on 35's. The ARB was never one of my favorites, but I've always loved the look of this rig.

Meh, skip he gayrb and build yourself something cool that suits your truck/needs (winch).

I love the older style ARB Roo-bar! Just not the best for my current rig.

I've got this setup for a fair deal, here it is just clamped on for mock-up.

Kiddos are just helping me destroy the garage :)

I'm still not 100% on it, but it's growin on me. This is actually a few inches forward of where it may finally end up. May mount it a tad but higher, we'll have to see when I get to that portion of the project

Not 37s but here's mine with 35x12.50s before I put on some 33x10.50 KM2s today that I got from another Mudder. :)

I've been interested in this quite a lot - never have seen a truly cool bumper for the 40 series that protects the nose properly without interfering with the headlights and has decent lines to fit the vehicle . The old school ARB was definitely better but still not all that great . Guess I'm going to have to design one since I don't want the tube pre-runner designs or really anything with a full stinger , ect .

I can understand why CCOT and others just make a super simple channel unit for the 40 , it's a tough nose to make it look right .

Not exactly what you are looking for but this is my rig with a body lift on 33's with an old Aussie bar.

Here's mine. Just a 2inch lift and the older ARB bar. And then there's the overbuilt bullbar of my friend's dad's HJ45 (He custom made it)

The new arb bar looks good. But it doesn't (to me) look like it flows with the front end like it could. Don't get me wrong I'm not haten. Has any one designed one that protects and goes with the lines of the truck better

I have yet to find a bumper for the 40 that actually follows the lines of the truck and protects the nose/fenders as it should without interfering with the headlights or the radiator . Intend to fix this pretty soon , going to take a lot of thought but I think it can be done .
