2.5'' lift with 285/65/18 Nitto TG'sQUOTE]

Griffin... . .care to chime in on 7' garage clearance?

Haven't tried it yet because my garage is currently full with tires, wheels, brush guards and running boards (and other junk). A quick measurement indicates it would be close, though. I'll soon clean up the garage and try it.

that burgundy LC compared to the white one in front looks like it's almost 4-6" difference in height!
I'm torn between Nitto Terra Grappler and BFGoodrich T/A KO or Dunlop Rover MT....leaning towards Nitto TG though....I need to decide by next week, but I'll need to stay with OEM suspension for a while...which tire will work best? I'm thinking 285/65R18, will it fit ok? or should I go with 275/70R18?
Need advice

I would go with 275/70/18 no lift because 100 LC looks better with taller tires; just my opinion though. Interested in hearing other fellows’ opinion

Bump for 265/70/18 photos?
You are in luck.... I couldn’t find many 265/70 photos. But didn’t like the power loss of my 275/70s and put on some 265/70/18 falken wildpeaks Monday.

Sweet, thanks! Let us know if you have more long-term test notes. I'm trying to collect real-world comparision between those two sizes before pulling the trigger.

I just ordered a set of Toyo Open Country AT III's in 265/70R18 (P-metric), I'll post some pics once installed. I ran 275/65R18s for several years but wanted a slightly taller, more aggressive tire.

Thanks! I'm having 265/70/18 KO2s installed this afternoon. Will post as well.

Same 265/70/18 wildpeaks on my rig. Love that you can get them in a P-metric considering my truck is on the road 98% of the time. Rides great and no noticeable hit to MPG.

I am in the midst of deciding on my final wheel and tire selection and it would be great to see pics of 100's with 265/70-18 or 275/70-18 tires.

Please post pics and tell us exactly what size and brand of tire you have.

It I could invent the perfect 100 Series size for my needs it would be an A/T in 265/75-18 or 285/70-18 but neither are readily available.

Sure this thread dates to 2011... Pretty stoked about new 265/70/18 KO2s here. No real miles yet but the spare did fit with a half inch to spare to the panhard bar.

Are you
No I am good at 7' garages...the 6'6" ones are another story. I drove around and parked in 7' garage just couple weeks ago without issue...but in Wash DC had to park on street as they were 6'6".
lifted? I'm curious because I'm going on a camping trip and there is a bridge with 6'6 clearance. I have a lx470 stock. Can low mode put me under 6'6?
