I have a 71 40 1f and I am trying to install a weber on it. I got it from JToutfitters and I swear the person who wrote the instructions didnt speak english and never installed one of these! So please if anyone has any pics of this particular setup installed I could really use some pics. I am using manual choke and original tc. Thanks and I already know alot of people like the original carb better!

Does anyone have any pics of this? Also what is the throttle return spring attached to? This thing is a nightmare so far - it better run good!

This still may not help, but it is bigger. The return spring can attach to anything that pulls it towards the valve cover.

I have a this carb in mine but I am unable to get photo's of it for you right now. My Throttle return spring is connected to a small metal bracket that I made and attached to one of my valve cover bolts. I have the aftermarket cable linkage and pedal on mine. My plan is to go back to the stock carb because I want to get back to a stock setup but my 76 runs pretty good with this carb on it and is my daily driver. I get about the standard 11 MPH in and around town driving. Hope this helps.
