I know this isn’t fancy, but man does it hold, even off road. Single hand operation. I highly recommend it. And it’s cheap!
It’s only fallen off twice - as a result of sitting in the sun all day in a parking lot. Even then it stuck back on and held right away. Putting up a sunscreen keeps that from happening.

I stick it to the dash right of the steering wheel, not the window.

Proclip mount used here - I've used these for years. Add the charger base and it's gold for both DD and trips.

My girlfriend just got this for Christmas from her dad, Scosche Magic Mount. I ordered one the same day.
I think everyones biggest question is whether or not it will stick off roading... the biggest complaint most will have with this is the magnet being too strong to easily take off. Perfect for the cruiser, I knew someone else had to have put this on MUD already. Cheers

It works great, however it's too close to the steering wheel and I occasionally hit it with my hand. Also, I'm afraid it may break my vent. I have looked at ones that have an short adjustable arm (to move the phone further away from the steering wheel), but I'm afraid the arm will act as a lever and put more pressure on the vent (and more potential for damage).
Has anyone damaged their air vent using a vent clip?

All the other solutions seem bulky to me, not to mention the RAM mount entry point ($$). For me, worth it and then some for $20. Does not impede passenger space...the only consideration (if i had to think of something) is that you lose about the last inch of forward seat travel as the seat will eventually coexist in the same space as the riser.

Can you please post links to the parts that were used? What length/type ram arm etc? I believe the ram mount is the best I’ve used, just super solid feeling.
