Big fan of Mountech phone holder. It uses a 1” ball (“ram”-type) mount so lots of options. I drilled into the dash with four holes to secure this T track. I made a support plate for underneath the dash and it’s bomber. Never ever moves.

I don't like adhesive or screws in my dash, suction cups on my glass, or using a more cumbersome device than my phone to utilize my phone. I have a magnetic mount that locks in to my air vent just to the right of the steering wheel. Keeps the phone in line of sight. Works great on trails, too. There are about a million on Amazon.
