Took a little over an hour from start to finish in my shop, so it wasn't nearly as hard as some make it out to be
(then again, I do have a lift and access to the proper tools)
I did run into a couple of kinks though
Kink #1
Snapped one of the 3 bolts on the end cover for the starter
Looks to be an original unit with plenty of rust, but I'm pretty sure the other 2 bolts will hold it just fine...
Kink #2
After installing the new Samco silicone hose, I tried to put the mounting bracket bolt back in place and dropped it :whoops:
Couldn't find it anywhere, so now the pipe is only being held by the top mount (which I think should hold up fine)...
What really irks me is that the contacts still had more than 1/2 life left on them and the original PHH looked like it would go another 100k miles without issue
The coolant also looked as fresh as the new stuff I was pouring in
I almost feel robbed lol
